The Serial Sync. “RS422/X21” Tap provide 24/7 monitoring access to both sides of the network and copy traffic at wire speed without introducing a point of failure.
Once in place it enables monitoring the network and move test equipment without breaking the circuit. Transparent to the network it shows network traffic in real-time as if the analyzer would be in the network. It works at speeds up to 10Mb.

The Tap is non-intrusive for 100% security. The Permanent Network Link feature guarantees permanent network connectivity, without package loss, also at power failure. The unit is powered through the DB15M monitor interface. One LED shows Power.
The unit can be used Stand Alone or be Rack Mounted. Special Rack Mount brackets (optional) enable the unit to be mounted in 2 different ways, with network interface front mounted respectively with monitor interface front mounted. Three (3) units fit in one 1U 19inch Rack Plate.
